Tape Repair & Recovery
A tape is most often susceptible to three main types of data loss, being head-alignment issues, partial over-write and tape breaks. Tape breaks are where the tape medium itself snaps or stretches due to a mechanical fault in the tape or tape drive used to record data onto it.
In many cases, the tape or tape drive can be mended so that the data can be read and copied out to a different medium. We have access to all tape drives commonly used, and are experienced in the handling of all tape types and formats.
